File A Civil Rights Complaint

Complaint Filing Procedures

Filing A Complaint
All complaints filed with the NAACP Kansas State Conference must be submitted through the official “Complaint Form.” The Complaint Form must be completed, signed, and dated. This process ensures the cataloging and timely processing of your complaint. Additional documentation may be attached if needed.  Neither the NAACP Kansas State Conference nor its branches can discuss your claim until your official “Complaint Form” is submitted to us.  If there is a local NAACP Kansas Branch in the city where the incident occurred, please file a complaint with the local branch.  Visit the Find Your Local Branch page to obtain a branch-specific complaint form.

How to Request a Complaint Form
Complainants may complete the (1) online, (2) fillable PDF, or (3) hard copy Complaint Form.  To request a PDF fillable or hard copy Complaint Form, go to Contact Us and submit your request.  The fillable PDF form or the hard copy will be emailed to you.
